I want to create or edit a Mapping but the Object or Field is not visible in the Connect UI

Issue

You are trying to create or edit a Mapping with Heroku Connect and you are not seeing one or more Salesforce objects or fields that you are expecting.

Resolution

This is most likely caused by a permissions issue in Salesforce for the user used to authenticate the Heroku Connect connection. Follow the instructions in Dev Center to determine if this is the cause of the problem and resolve it accordingly.
