I am using a Private Space's stable outbound IP addresses in an IP whitelist to secure our services. I'm wondering if these IPs can change. In that case, I would need to update our whitelist.
Resolution
No, the four stable outbound IP addresses are not changed after the Private Space is created.
Please note that out of the four stable outbound IP addresses, only two of them are in active use at a time. When our infrastructure provider performs a maintenance where the NAT gateway is replaced, the subset of active outbound IP addresses are subjected to change but will still be part of the four stable outbound IP addresses.
When managing allowlists, the four stable outbound IP addresses need to be allowed to avoid issues accessing external resources whenever the subset IP addresses are rotated.
