Issue
You want to understand and prepare for the end of your Enterprise Contract with Heroku and want to convert your Enterprise Team to an Online Team with direct or credit card billing.
Resolution
There are a few things you will want to be aware of as your Enterprise Team is converted:

If you are using any Private Spaces, the spaces will still exist and will be billed to the credit card moving forward.

If you are using SSO, this will be turned off and all users would receive a password reset. You can enable SSO once you are on direct team -https://devcenter.heroku.com/articles/heroku-teams#enable-single-sign-on

If you are using custom or fine-grain access control, this will not be available outside of Enterprise Teams. Only standard permissions will be available to a non-enterprise or Heroku Online Team.
When your Enterprise contract ends, your Enterprise Team will be automatically converted about 5 days later and you will be able to add a credit card to your team as follows:
- Your current enterprise team will be changed to a direct online team with no changes from your end and no loss in service.
- Approximately 5 days after your contract ends, an email will be sent to the team admins to add a credit card first to their personal account (allowing the account to be verified before the next step) and then to the team account.
- If you don't enter credit card details after 24 hours you will start receiving warning emails advising you to do so.
After your team is converted, it would be wise to review permissions for team members.
Transferring Apps

- Performance Tier dynos are limited to users/teams with established payment history. If you are using Performance Tier dynos on your apps, make sure the flag is enabled on the Direct team by reaching out to heroku support team to avoid resource scaling issues after transfering your apps to the Heroku team.
