Will changing my Salesforce integration user for Heroku Connect impact my synchronized row count?

Issue

A customer wants to change the Salesforce account associated with their Heroku Connect add-on. They are worried if this will impact their Heroku Synchronized Row count.

An example would be changing from dogsarecool@test.com --> catsarecool@test.com.

Resolution

The Heroku Connect Synchronized Row count will not be affected as long as the new integration user has the same profile and permission sets in Salesforce as the old integration user. If they have differing characteristics, than row counts may be affected.
