Issue
I'm unable to access or view the Postgres database which used to be on the free plan.
Resolution
The free plans for Heroku Postgres have being retired on November 28, 2022. In order to keep the data, we have suggested non-Enterprise users must upgrade to a paid plan. Learn more about our Mini plans here.
Starting November 28th, 2022, free databases in personal and Heroku Team accounts have been queued for deletion and they have been deleted. As the deleted database retention period is completed unfortunately we would not be able to provide any backup of the deleted database.
Hobby-Dev databases that belong to an Enterprise Account or Team have been converted to Mini starting from November 28, 2022.
If you have any concerns about your contract pricing, contact your account executive.
Note that free databases that belong to personal accounts have been deleted, even if that user also belongs to an Enterprise Team.
See our blog post and the Removal of Heroku Free Product Plans FAQ for more info related to the ending of free plans.
