How do I reconnect the GitHub integration?

Issue

Your GitHub integration was disabled and you want to re-enable it.

Resolution

The most seamless way to re-enable is for the user who initially configured the GitHub connection to take the following steps:

  1. Navigate to an app's Deploy or a pipeline's Settings tab.
  2. Click Authorize GitHub and follow the prompts.

Known Issues

  1. If you're not the user who set up the GitHub connection initially, you can still reauthorize GitHub using the steps above, however, you must re-configure your Review Apps and Heroku CI from scratch.
  2. After redirecting back to the Dashboard, you may see a notice about an invalid GitHub Token. Hard refresh (Cmd + Shift + R on Mac, Ctrl + F5 on Windows) the Heroku Dashboard to remove the invalid message.
