Why am I seeing the error “The owner of <app_name>, <team>@herokumanager.com, must be verified before you can scale processes (please have them enter a credit card).“?

Issue

Enterprise Team converted to Normal Team receiving the below error:

The owner of <app_name>, <team>@herokumanager.com, must be verified before you can scale processes (please have them enter a credit card).

Resolution

This happens when an Enterprise Team contract ends and is converted to a normal team.

Thus when an app is under an unverified team, in order to scale processes or resources for an app within that team, the team account needs to be verified or the app has to be transferred to a personal verified account.

To verify your team account you would need to visit the billing tab of your team dashboard - https://dashboard.heroku.com/teams/<team_name>/billing and enter the credit card details.
