Tax exemption documents
Certain customers may be tax-exempt will be able to apply for tax exemption. Customers who are tax-exempt must submit a copy of their state tax exemption certificate in a support ticket under the Heroku Billing Support knowledge base category:

If your State Tax Exemption certificate does not include a certificate number or your Federal EIN/TIN, please also submit a copy of your corresponding documentation that provides a copy of this ID number.
We cannot accept Federal (IRS) tax exemption forms; only the state form will be used for sales tax exemption. Once the request has been received, please allow 10-12 business days for processing.
