Can I apply to the GitHub Student Developer Program after my credits expire?


You've received 2 full years of Heroku credits as part of the Github Student Developer Program and are curious if you can be accepted into the credit program twice.


The Heroku GitHub Student Offer is no longer accepting new applications. If you have already received credits, you will not be affected by this change. Current participants can continue to use the remainder of their credits for the allotted time. For information on free Heroku resources for students, please visit here.

If you've been accepted into the Github Student Developer Program, your credits expire after 24 months. As a reminder, the expiration of credits is not dependant on whether or not you use the actual credits that have been granted.

Once the Github Student Developer Program credits expire, Heroku is unable to extend any further credits. We suggest that that you scale down dynos and any add-ons paid resources that are provisioned to manage your spending.
