Issue
You've received 12 full months of Heroku platform credits as part of the Heroku for GitHub Students program and are curious to know if you can be accepted into the credit program twice.
Resolution
Once you've been accepted into the Github Student Developer program, your credits expire after 12 months. As a reminder, the expiration of credits is not dependent on whether or not you use the actual credits that have been granted.
For more information on the credit program, we recommend the following resources:

https://help.heroku.com/FFN35ZM2/why-am-i-being-charged-for-heroku-services-even-though-i-m-in-the-github-student-program
Once the Heroku for GitHub Students program credits expire, Heroku is unable to extend any further credits to your personal Heroku account. We suggest that you scale down any paid platform services and paid add-on resources that you have provisioned in order to manage your spend.
